Wireless to USB DAC

I'm currently running from my macbook's usb -> Aune T1 -> Marantz 2230. I don't like being tied to my DAC though. I want to be able to wirelessly transmit my signal to my Aune. From what I understand, and please correct me if I'm wrong, an Airport Express won't work for me - it doesn't have a USB output. My Aune T1 only accepts usb.

Anybody have any suggestions to get me untethered from my desk?

Logitech does not make Squeezebox anymore, but you can get one of many ARM computers running Squeezeplay and having WiFi network interface. I use Wandboard for that purpose, but it is probably overkill for audio purpose only.

Audioengine has wireless gear. I think you need a wireless DAC to send to your Aune DAC which is redundant but doesn't hurt anything.

I run a Raspberry PI on WiFi with Volumio and a USB DAC, files on a NAS. Controlled from any device on my network- phone, tablet, desktop. Playback is fine over "g" WiFi at 94/24. Async DAC and Volumio buffers in memory anyway, so no dropouts or latency issues.
