Awesome trip! And probably a wise decision to not hike back in that kind of heat. I was in southern Utah near Zion at the same time and temps in that area were running about 20 degrees above normal. Ugh! Gotta love that picture of the switchbacks. I am regularly amazed and very appreciative of the work done by trail workers that make it easier for me to visit some amazing places. I'm glad you had a good time and would like to see some more photos for inspiration.
