Worth it?

They are extremely rare these days, and are likely worth the asking price. But try them out first. If you decide to sell them it might take a while, since most people don't know the company at all, and that will get worse over time.

Totally my exact thoughts. VMPS was still supported by the founder before he died, and there was a good size following, so resale was easier. Since Bryan's passing, it may take a long time to sell them as people stop reading about it in the audio press, and your buyers will be limited to mostly existing VMPS owners.
 
For $800 with upgraded and refoamed woofers and passives, I would have to at least audition the VMPS Supertower R speakers. If you got them, you might not want to sell them.
