So, you have the RS3 crossover, with 1 emit tweeter and 2 x 8" woofers....

The RS three have one 1'' emit tweeter, one 5'' mid and one 8'' woofer.

I just bought some more Technics for the living room, my next speaker purchase will be new, not used.

Ok, but the data you posted refere to an RS3 with 2 woofers.

If you want to go new, the Infinity Primus line is very well regarded line, many people reported they perform as good as more expensive speakers.

Why not just sell them and get something more suited to what you want? Otherwise, you'll likely be farting in the wind and end up with trashed out homemade speakers that you won't be able to sell or trade for anything. And you'll be shelling out for better speakers later on anyway?

The Infinity's will hang out in the spare bedroom until i decide what to do with them.
I picked up another pair of Technics for the living room, i may not even buy a new pair of speakers now. These Technics sound rather good in here, so i may just use them for a few years.
