On the heels of my recent divorce
as I no longer beat a dead horse
I was asked by a friend,
"Do the means to an end
make you happy and rich?" Well of course

Well I'm happy to say I'm back,
after reading a thread about FLAC

    They all rant and rave
as they compared it to WAV

In the end all the matters is the DAC
    :p

A fellow performed quite a stunt
with a football he managed to punt
    The fans gasped aloud
    It soared into the crowd
and hit a girl square in the knee

I went to the county fair.
The birds and the beasts were there -
    Deep fried, on a stick.
    Oh, what kind to pick?
And with what beer should each of those pair?

Tonight we ate some barbecued chicken
I can say it was quite finger lickin'.
I yelled out "My oh my!
as I grabbed for a thigh
I was careful whose thigh I was picking.

Dave issued a BUMP here today.
Could that be all he had to say?
    A poke with a stick
    Or with a limerick
Would be more effective, I say.

    It's true that I posted a bump
for the thread had gone into a slump.
    To prevent fellow posters
    from becoming coasters
I may have come off as a chump.

    Kudos to Bobvinyl's bride,
    for swiftly kicking his hyde,

'cause he was playing his Beatles
    with his Micracord's two needles

    And using the 78 side

    (tsk tsk tsk)
    :p

Oh Dave, a chump you are not
You care for this thread a whole lot

You just had not the time
to come up with a rhyme

We still appreciate you a lot.
    :)

    Bobsvinyl's excuses are lies :p
about not touching some lady's thighs

    They belonged to Sally Anders
    And not Colonel Sanders

Would chicken make his drum stick rise ????

Haaaaaaaaaaaa! (I hope this is acceptable - just meant in fun)

    I was born in 1951.
Those simpler times were really quite fun.
    Five channels on the telly
Home cooked food in my belly
we spent all day outside in the sun.

Jody T. has revived this old thread.
It has risen back up from the dead
    It's post 703
and as you all can see
The witty rhymes still mess with your head.

I guess I'll come back for the "bump"
Then run for the hills like ol' Gump
    I don't have much time
    To work on a rhyme
I've gotta go take a big dump

    Coogar; no need to fit
You can't always have a rhyming bit.

    You did your best,
    Now take a rest

    Especially after taking a s s-s-s ------shower
    :p
    (yep that's the ticket)

    New Hampshire in '51,
before the Interstate was known to anyone

    All the platters were idler,
    and the music was milder

And "BabysVinyl" was having such fun

He'd grow up with no career in Pharma,
    Never really cared for Schwarma

    But one thing he found,
    He really liked good sound,

    And posting limericks on 'Karma!
    :) Yay!
