Requiescat in pace
XM Radio is currently running a special program, playing in chronological order every song that has charted since the depression era.

Some cool songs, many I don't remember ever hearing, others that I've not heard in a long time.

By the way, never let anyone tell you that songs had more meaning in ?? decade- there was much pap in pop in every decade;)

From my parents era:

Hoagie Carmichael did a song called Huggin' and Chalkin'. It basically related the story of him dating a girl who was so fat, he had to leave chalk marks on her body, so he would know where to start hugging the next day ("My eyes get wide and my knees go limp, every time I see my baby blimp!")

Anyhow, towards the end of the song, he's a huggin' and chalkin', when "from around the mountains" he runs into a guy who's doing the exact same thing that he's doing, to the same girl, at the same time! Sooooooo, my parents knew about threesomes.
