The one in my system was DOA when I bought it due to glue corrosion but I repaired that and then it got a full restoration. I used like for like when replacing parts on this one but I have a few others as well as a Japanese market A-950 that will need restoration as well. Next one I go into I'll have to try the WIMA on and see what I think.If and when you do your A-1000, use WIMA FKP or MKP to replace the Mylar's and you find Class A is much more appealing, especially in the upper range.
