Hi, everyone. I've had this CD player for several years but I've never tried using the USB port. I thought the sales associate told me I could also connect my laptop to the USB port. I tried this evening but had no results. Has anyone had experience with this, and if so, how did you do it? Thank you.

If it's anything like the CD-S300 then the USB port is meant for devices like memory sticks/card readers and portable music players (Ipod etc.).
ie: It's not meant to be connected directly to a laptop,it's for mass storage devices using FAT16 -or FAT32 files (no NTFS).

And it'll only read Mp3 and WMA files.
