I posted some of this to another thread, but for all Yamaha users, here goes.
Yamaha CR-n20 Series (and I believe CR-n00 as well)
The lamps are T1-1/4 GOW bulbs, originally made by Stanley and sometimes still available from Yamaha at ~$5.00 each. They are 12V 60ma rating. The size ensures they will fit in the respective holes. If you can't get the ones with the long leads then just splice them onto the existing wires.
Yamaha CR-n40 Series
Same size but different rating - 14V 80ma, again by Stanley. What I do with the neo-wedge lamps is remove the old bulb and slip the new one into the little plastic holder and feed the wires through all the holes. This is why size is important. The green silicone condoms just slip over the bulb.
ACK Supply in Georgia carries some bulbs of these sizes. The MTBF figures are lower than Yamaha's 40,000 hours, but realize that they are wired in series pairs on a voltage source that is less than double the voltage, so even lower MTBF lamps will last.
I believe the URL is www.acksupply.com then pull up their whole catalog and look under lamps. Also order some 1/16 inch heat shrink to cover the splices.
