Yamaha R-50 Stereo Receiver Owner's Manual

While moving I recently uncovered an original '84 Yamaha R-50 Stereo Receiver Owner's Manual. If anyone has a R-50 and would like it, PM me your mailing address.

Hi all, I've just joined this forum in the hope that someone has access to a Yamaha Turntable, model YP-511, User Manual. So far I've only managed to find the user guide in German... Das ist etwa so viel Einsatz als Schokolade Teekanne.

I do have the service manual which is great however it doesn't tell me how to set up the arm.

    Thanks in advance.

    Old Skool Service

So, after milking the internet dry and coming up empty handed, I wrote to Yamaha (yes, I put pen to paper in this day and age!).

A week later nice chap call Steve from the AV department posted me a colour photocopy of the manual. Now that's service!

Here it is if anyone would like it:

Brutal I forgot to ask you what soldering iron do you use 45W or 25W and what tip to use as I am just learning and would like to start soldering and getting used to the timing to remove the iron without making a mess etc! Thanks!

Kind of not the appropriate thread for this Q&A, but I use a Weller WESD51

A very useful site, with Google translation.
Here I found that one big difference between Ns 500 and Ns500M is woofer diameter. Ns500M has 30cm (12") woofer and Ns500 has 25cm (10") woofer diameter.
Some English sites said it has the same woofer dimension.

different beasts that share the same name
the ns-500 is not only smaller but it is 2-Way, with a 10" paper woofer
the ns-500M and ns-500Ma are 3-way, have the 12'' carbon fiber woofers.
All three have Be tweeters, but the one in the ns-500 is bigger than those in 500M, 500Ma. I hope this helps clarify things a bit.
The ns-500Ma is the newer of the three. I have a pair.
