hey guys, I was told I should post this problem here.
I have an A-700 that I love so much, forgive me because I don't know much about audio, I am pretty sure there is a simple solution but I have taken this thing to small audio places for repair and they told me the cost would easily surpass the unit's value.
I get random pops where the music cuts out completely, sometimes for hours, not cured by a simple unplugging or anything like that.
I have replaced the fuses, tried different outlets, very thick gauge cabling, different speakers (still 8 ohms), and the problem persists.
I am ready to start learning about servicing amps and this would be a great project for me as it is not my main amp.
Thanks,
Jess
