No way! I'm going to have get some of that to play with I guess. I was going to use rust-oleum enamel and bake it on. Have a custom pair of badges I'm going to use for label replacements.
A friend of mine made them for me using a laser cutter. He's done a few sets, mine are "one offs" only set that the black pierced YAMAHA logo part is actually in dark grey tinted acrylic.
I really like the very dark grey smoked acrylic as it lets just a tiny amount of light reflect through it from the shiny silver layer below.
Yes it is and I have a lot to do before it gets here. Want to redo Christmas display as well, 192 channels of lights animated to music, that have to be done by Thanksgiving.
Turned subs back on today, made small adjustment to attenuators. Here's a doctored pic, I added -1dB and -2dB marks to make it easier to tell where they are.
I wish they were labeled this way too.
I added a dot on the dial as well so you can tell I cut both high and mid by around 1¾dB, anymore seemed too much with the subs on too. had them at -2dB with the subs off.
I'll flip mine around tomorrow and post a pic, clear is currently in the middle layer, I'll move it to the top layer. Originally asked for clear on top, but he sent them with clear in middle.
That's the correct way to dial in,/fine tune a speaker with attenuaters. Tiny movements can make or brake a speaker sounding good or not.
Too bad so many people just didn't understand this.
Nice badges, by the way.
