The Rega is a Apollo. Very good sounding but it is slow loading.... My amp is now a YBA HCDT ( hight current, double transformer) It is 140 watts into 4 ohm. Very tube like sound. Old other amps are Quicksilver Mid Monos... ( see my new futur room) My pre amp is a very good Conrad Johnson PV12 with a super phono , all retubed with Gold Lions. TT is a Heybrook TT2. All was bought used except the Rega. On a Target rack...
oh yes, The Speakers are Mani 2's from Totem. ( got Model 1 too in my other room)
As I said, all was bought used... It takes time and effort, I did some trades, look up the ads... I'm far from rich but I managed to get a fairly good sounding set up. But It is old... see my amp is 15 years old. It looks and plays like new. It was Class A in Stereophile... I just waited and got it for 1/4 of the price. Same thing for my pre amp.
