Friday in Sacramento a Fisher 500-c sold very cheaply in around 5 minutes !!!!

It was 10:30 PM on Craigslist. I thought I had a chance, but was 1/2 hour late.

Did it say what condition it was in? I have a very nice restored 500C in a wood cabinet that would take a lot for me to get rid of.

the guy said the 500C was in very good original condition. Took him at his word, no reason to not be truthful at that stage. I will find a cheap, but excellent project amp. Thanks for the welcome to the site.

I like the SR17's a lot. They had been modified by Silverline for the guy I bought them from. Would have to hunt for the paperwork to see what was done. I have only played them through Acurus and NAD amps with a YS Audio tube preamplifier, before setting the preamp aside for my current setup. My Audire Forte is currently getting a going over at Vintage Amp here in town, but as it was it sounded the best.
