Your Favorite Solid State Power Amplifier

    Simple, for me my favorite power amplifier I have owned in solid state. My McIntosh MC 2505-2. I also love the McIntosh MC 2100 and MC 2105 a lot, and also love the Crown D 75 and DC 300a and DC 300a II amplifiers.

    For 500 you could even acquire a Crown PSA2! around 300 RMS /channel (8 ohms) enormous damping factor and once tweaked can sound wonderful. I use one with a pair of KEF 104aB's PER SIDE!!!

    Doesn't that amp use Hitachi lateral mosfet output devices?

    The DH 220 and DH 120 are on my radar. Have not heard either yet.
