Your favorite speaker stands?

Cinder blocks worked well for me in the 70s

Still use them today when I setup smaller speakers - spray paint works wonders

I have some DIY stands for bookshelf & other small monitors. Made from a composite fence post cover filled with sand. Heavy & pretty dense & dead. They do the trick and can be made for less than $30. The covers come in 4' lengths for about $12 each at Menards (or insert your fave home improvement store)

1970 Sansui wooden speaker stands, stained dark brown, with gold painted Sansui logo.

Nothing really special but 'beyond super rare'.
