Wrong coast, too old.
Monday evening, September 17, Ringo Starr and his All Star Band at the Boch Wang Center in Boston
Last weekend the wife and I went to the 25th Blues and Brews festival in Telluride Colorado.
It was three days of fantastic music. The people who put that event on are top tier.
Very organized, clean and everyone on the roster went on stage according to schedule.
Sound was very well done. Robert Plant headlined Saturday night and Warren Haynes with Govt. Mule closed the show on Sunday.
It was a beautiful weekend of great weather, people and music.
I know wrong coast. I'm 66, this is my 13th season. When I first started I only worked summers for Live Nation. I've been full time since summer 2012.

Rise Against - Mourning In Amerika Tour 2018
Probably not many of you have heard of the "Chuckwagon Gang" but this gospel quartet has been playing primarily in the south for several generations ( since the 1930's ). They give most of their concerts in small local churches ( many are Baptist churches ) and it's a pass-the-hat affair which supports their bus tours. No tickets to purchase you just show up an hour in advance to get a good seat. Shay the brunette is the granddaughter of one of the original members. They maintain a website that gives their concert schedule.
I'm interested to see if there are others who appreciate this type of music so if you do give this post a like. Even if you don't, you have to admit the CWG are some fine musicians.

Stoner night tonight and metal last night. Equals loud. I enjoyed both, but this one had no action to it.
I love Russian Circles, but still have to see them live.
They seemed like real nice guys. I've never seen an opening act get 75 minutes before.

Weener. Seattle WA Ween tribute band. 4 hour set.
Just talked to a buddy of mine about 1 hr. ago. He saw YES at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee 2 weeks ago. He said it was the most unenjoyable concert he ever attended. Not that YES was bad, it was the crowd. On his right, was a guy with a camcorder recording the whole show on a monopod, he, (buddy), could see the LED screen out of the corner of his eye. On his left, 2 seats over was a couple having a conversation during EVERY song. With the P.A. they needed to speak loudly. Annoying for sure. I guess I had it lucky back in the day, and only worried about stray Frisbe's, beachballs, and an occasional firecracker.
September 20th (my birthday).

Awesome show, except for 2nd act. Mix on the PA was really shrill sounding.
John Scofield with Combo 66
Great show, incredible musicianship.
