This weekend picked up a copy of Eric Clapton's Money & Cigarettes .. still in shrink wrap but opened .. play graded Nm-.
Already had a Vg+ copy at home … but opening track side 2 had series of audible ticks for 30 seconds into the record .. lowered the grade. Anyway, good replacement copy.

Was looking for legacy Vinyl Johnny Winter (Second Winter) lP on the bottom shelves (W's) .. came across the Clapton album .. was somebody trying to hide this in the W's? :naughty:

I somehow just managed to discover this thread. Lots of great stuff here. I've picked up quite a bit of vinyl recently. It's come from a number of sources, mostly Goodwill, but also a trip to Streetlight Records when I was down in Santa Clara for a conference, one estate sale and several gift cards (Barnes & Noble and Amazon) I received during the holidays.

Lets' start with the estate sale:

In yesterday I was an idiot: I wrecked my copy of Barrington Levy’s Robin Hood by dropping it on the RCM. Later in the day, I was in Toronto for a show and hit a record store up the street where I was able to secure a replacement copy. But then I also bought a second copy of a Public Image Ltd. record that I forgot I already had. In better news, I also picked up the new Lee Fields & The Expressions album.
