Your next McPurchase?

Just curious what your next planned McPurchase is, either new or vintage. What is your (realistic) dream system? I am in the process of picking out a Mac pre-amp. Let the auditions begin!

Next purchase:
C2200

Current System:
MX134
MC402
MC206
MVP861
MS300
B&W N802, N805, HTM2, DM602 (in 7.1 set-up)
Other lesser stuff

5 year plan:
C2200
VPI Scout or Project RM-9.1 (impressed by this month's TAS review and very cool looking)
3) MC501 (MC402 to the surrounds)
B&W 800D, HTM1D (with current N802 to surrounds)
MDA1000
MS500 (or whatever replaces the MS300!)

That would keep me happy for a while (as long as I never here MasterLu's system!!!)

Nonsense, come on down!

Next Mc related "purchase": having my second pair of MC30s rebuilt.

Long Term: obtaining an additional MX110 and two MC30s (one for each of my two pairs) to serve as "lifetime parts archive". If 20 years from now I need critical replacement parts, I plan to have them.

And of course, continuing to collect NOS brand tubes to keep all of this sounding it's best.

System: MX110, MC30s, Belle Klipsch. It is where midrange lives :music:

A second MC352 & MC275-MKIV

Current system,
C2200
MC352
MCD201
B&W 802D
and just ordered a set of PMC GB1's

Home Theater
MX134
MC207
MVP861
B&W 600 series all around
but I always leave room to add more toys!

See...even dealers are audio addicts!

Wow! I'm sure that beats the systems with 800 series and Denon, Yamaha or even Rotel electronics. So many people think that only the speakers count..

I know how the 600 series can sound great for HT, and it must be so sweet with your system!!

BTW I hope to change my MA6500 for a C220 and a MC402 (or 2x501's if I get lucky..). I already have the MCD201 and hope to keep it for years! I will need 802D's first though, and a house (with room) even before that, to fully appreciate the upgrade. So the ROOM would be my first upgrade to say.

Great Fun Question, thanks for thinking of it...

I'll tell, but Ryan has to avoid drooling over my "dream" purchases...

Current:
VPI Scout
MX-135
Mc-402
Mc-252
MS-300
MVP-861
MR-80
B&W N802 (Front Mains)
Mc CS-350 (Front Center)
Mc SL-1 (Sub W)
B&W CM1 (Surrounds)
ProAc Tablette (Rear Effects)
Extremely Supportive Wife (Eat your hearts out!)

Dream:
Separate room for 2 Ch
Mc Tube Pre-amp (probably C220)
Mc Tube Power Amp (probably Mc-275)
Small (stand mounted), efficient speakers
MCD-201

How 'zat?

That's a good one, I got a good laugh out of that one! Let's bring the ownership back home!!!:D

Actually, I was surprised how little it sold for (wish I knew before hand)

Just got a C41 to hold me a year until I can get either a C2200, C220, or C46 (can't make up my mind). I'm also interested in hearing the Gallos 3.1 speakers I've read so much about lately. Also, thinking of going from VPI Scout TT to Scoutmaster (used, of course) and upgrade on cartridge.

Hello all, I got my partial dream system in March, (C45, MC501) but still saving up for W&B 802D and may be MCD201. then that will be completed dream system.
Current system set up; C45, MC501, Sony DVP9000es, Vienna Acoustic Beethoven III.

Maybe this is proof that I'm no audiophile - but I do miss the variable loudness control.

Have: C2200, MCD205, MC275IV, Linn LP 12 w. Ortofon Rohmann and MCP-1 step up, Quad ELS-989

One year plan C252 or 352 for a pair of Sonus Faber for second room and a new DVD player.

Regards, rosn

Probably in the next few months;
MC-402 (is the 602 worth it; another thread)
MS-300 music server
LS-360's; front speakers
CS-350; center channel
and probably 4 WS 350's for side and rear speakers.

-and an MC-275 for the bedroom, unless I can find a brother to the orphan MC-60 I've got now.-

-edit- Actually going to see my dealer tomorrow about this. :scratch2:
