YP-511 or YP-D6?

I currently have a YP-511 in my main system but now have a chance at buying a YP-D6.

How much if any is this an upgrade? I would be switching my cart from the 511 to the D6.

If I understand you correctly you are looking at a new unit, not just the cart. If that assumption is correct... I looked up the specs and the YP-511 wow and flutter is .04 and on the YP-D6 it is 0.035 so not much of a difference. Personally I would look towards a belt drive. I have a YP-701 that is incredible! I think it is leagues ahead of yamahas better direct drive units. I have a signet cart and stylus on it. Of course belt/direct drive is a personal opinion, I just prefer belt.
