Just came back from a delightful trip through Andalusia (Seville, Ronda, Granada and Cordoba). What a beautiful country! Here are some pictures:
Awesome! My first known relative was known as the "Butcher of Cordoba." His name was Diego Rodriquez de Lucero and was an inquisitor. I've read our name is still hated in that area of Spain to this day.
If this is your first time there sign up for the free tour here: http://weareseville.com/ We had 2 tours: Historical Walking Tour in the morning and Santa Cruz in the afternoon. Our guide was an awesome woman Roxy. The best tour guide I've ever heard! You wouldn't regret it. Just make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes. And another thing: if you want to visit Alcazar (Water gardens of Dorne anyone??) make sure you book tickets online here: www.alcazarsevilla.org Otherwise you will spend hours waiting in line....and it is HOT there!
Another place to visit: Casa de la Guitarra. Flamenco show. Reserve your tickets online. Ask for a front row...passion is through the roof! And then have a nice dinner ...literally anywhere. Tapas and Rioja or Tempranillo...enjoy! Just Sevilla or anything else?
