This picture is available on an English BD disc from Paramount but will play in American machines. The disc has an outstanding reputation for the quality of it's picture and sound.

I ordered it from Amazon (paid $21) and it arrived yesterday. The reputation of this disc is well deserved; the picture has outstanding sharpness and color and is just amazing. These epic pictures that were shot in big format proceesses (Zulu was shot in Technirama which was basically VistaVision with an anamorphic squeeze) are the pictures that make BD worth having.

The extras are excellent including documentaries about the picture and interviews with Stanley Baker's wife, James Booth (Hookie), John Barry and the 2nd unit director. There is very interesting commentary during the picture from the 2nd unit director and a film historian; both the history of the battle and the making of the film are discussed.

This is an outstanding disc and every guy into blu-ray should have a copy. Afterall, I NEVER met a guy that didn't like Zulu.
