Infinity CS3006 surrounds

I picked up a pair of these today in good cosmetic shape but needing surrounds for both woofers and at least one mid.

Anyone know a source for the correct surrounds?

They have a nice solid build to them and are bi-amp capable as well. Should make awesome home office speakers once fixed. :D

i have a set that i just refoamed both woofers and mids.
there is a place called simply speakers in st. pete florida and a place called the speaker exchange in tampa.
both can get/send you the foams that you will need.

Thanks for the heads up. Any other gotcha's I should be concerned with? I have peformed any refoams over the last few years but have not had to content with plastic rings, etc. :D

just be careful prying thoes rings off. if you break one(or 2) i have a few 8" infinity bueaty rings laying around.
 
The method that I've used to get the rings off was by using a flat head screwdriver. Place the speaker upside down on a flat surface, so that the cone is facing down. Slowly and carefully tap the ring from behind using the screwdriver. Go around the ring tapping at different places. Don't hit too hard. All you want to do it loosen it up, so you can pry it open, without breaking the ring. If you do break the ring, it will usually break in two pieces. These can be glued back together easily.

I found an alternative method. I used a 1 1/2" spatula and gently pried as I went around the driver from the back side. Took my time and I have the first pair of plastic rings off without issues. Once I get the surround kits in house, I am looking forward to driving these with a 200 watt/ch SAE power amp.

I did the same as Manuel64, but I presoaked the gap between plastic and metal with acetone from behind the speaker. I used a syringe with a hypodermic needle to apply acetone - to avoid getting too much of acetone on the plastic. Acetone can discolor said plastic ring.
 
I have a pair of Infinity R-Ls. I used a utility knife to carefully cut/pry the trim ring away from the basket. It slipped in the gap pretty easily.
