Hey everyone!
I just picked up a MINT XP-99 turntable.
Very nice indeed.

Does anyone have a user manual for this table?
I went to VinylEngine but they only have a brochure.

There is a "dial" on the back of the tonearm base that says "In" and "Out".
Does anyone have any idea what this does?

Thanks for any info.

Hi Memnoch. Would be curious to hear how you like this compared to some of your other 'sui TT's.

I recently purchased a manual on eBay. The dial adjusts the lead-in position.

I think this is a very cool TT. But I know very little about TT's. Doesn't stop me from getting a few, experimenting with them. One day I'll find the time to experiment with the cartridges by swapping them from TT to TT. Fun.

Happy listening,
John

Thanks John,
Couldn't for the life of me figure what that little dial was for!
Made sense to me as soon as you said it ;)

I have to get a decent cart for the 99... (I think I will have to call it "Wayne")... It still has the original AT 3100S moving coil.
I see you can still get replacement styli for it. I will probably try that route first.

The XP-99 is a great table. I was interested in it due to it's auto features.
And I wanted to hear the difference with the "Dynaoptimum Balanced" tonearm. It's pretty and seems very well put together.

Once I get the stylus I will give it a real "head to head" to see how it performs. It will be fun.

Thanks for your help.
