Hi from Massachusetts

I found this forum while looking for some info on a stereo amplifier. I'm not really an audiophile, but I like things with tubes, and I built a few guitar amps out of old audio amps I found at yard sales and flea markets. Not so much anymore, cuz I don't have the time. I acquired an old tube stereo amp and tuner recently that's a bit under-powered, but sounds great. Maybe I'll upgrade to something bigger in the future.

Wait...you are into tubes? You better stay away from our Marblehead yard sales (just to be safe, stay away from Lynn and Salem). Just kidding! Welcome to a fantastic site with an amazing amount of enthusiastic members.

Lots of Massachusetts folks here.....and plenty of room for more. Keep an eye on this thread:

This will be a big one. If you can plan to attend, let us know.

Plenty of us from Taxachusetts. welcome!

And you are in Ayer, and a fan of Walsh Ohms! I am just a small bit west of you in Gardner. Keep an eye as well on the linked thread above. Most all of the "Usual Suspects" from Mass will be in attendance.

Welcome! From your name, I deduce A) that you're in the steel industry or B) that you're another Steely Dan fan. If B...double welcomes!

Welcome to AK, Neal! :thmbsp:

Hang around here long enough, and you may just start finding and building more of those amps... and other things, too! :D
