A Subscriber will be a regular member who pays the 25.00 per year. How do they do that ? Well they just go to their User CP and in the menu under Miscellaneous is a link for Subscriptions. They must click it and then they are walked through the payment. For now it's set up only for Paypal.

For the fee of $25.00 you will not only help in supporting one of the best sites around but also get the following features:

New forums only for Subscribers
Increase PM capacity to 1000
Increase picture storage to 50 meg ( Reg members get 1.5 meg )
Ability to delete your posts
larger signatures
Change color of name
Use of animated gifs
Set themselves to be invisible to the rest of the board.

Again, please use the User Control Panel for this action, I know you won't be sorry. I'm an e-mail piggy, so it's worth it to me for that alone.

Did I mention all of the great stuff to be found in the other forums?

As of right now there are no immediate plans for subscriptions on Videokarma.

Ok., thanks for clearing that out.

My point is, why do we appear over there as AK subscribers? Isn´t Videokarma an altogether different and independent site?

Yes now they are two completely different sites but were based off the same data base. It was the only way to carry over the TV members and postings to the new site.

Hence if you were a subscriber here you are there. Depending on how things go with the VK we may add subscriber forums in the future and if so anyone who had one will will most likely carry over there. At least until it expires.

Did you subscribe after on or after Aug 13th ? If so I can correct that on VK, but please see my reply above regarding subscriber forums on Videokarma. Thanks

I will make you a subscriber over there but as I mentioned we have our hands full with the site as it sits. Subscriber sections are a very long way off for VK.

In the meant time please enjoy your sub here on AK and thank you for you support.
