I can come fairly close. I have 10b's and some KG 5.2's. I like them both, but like the KG's better especially after the bob crites titanium diaphragm upgrades. But then again, I'm biased when it comes to the older klipsch! Having said that, I won't sell my 10b's either. Not much help was I?

I have both sets of speakers and have to say that the 10's are a bit more 'rock and roll' than the KG's. I love the Klipsch and find them to fill up a room a bit better than the Polks, (probably due to the horn), which are a bit more directional,or,have more of a sweet spot. The Polks seem to be a bit tighter in the bass where as the Klipsch are dependent on placement.(passive radiator in the rear) so you have more control over the amount and quality of the bass produced.
I have had a # of pairs of 10's and find that they are one of the few speakers that can be stacked,( did I just say that.... I'm sorry but it's true) I also have a pair of Monitor 7's which, when matched with the 10's, give off a sound that is beautiful. You have the clean mids and highs of the 7's along with the bottom ends of the 10's. Try this arrangement and you will not be disappointed. Hope this helps you out. They are both very good speakers. BTW, be sure to tighten down all of the drivers on the 10's. That will give you a tighter bass. And play with the KG4's re: the distance to the back wall, this will help the bass response as well.

I have monitor 10's and KG4's but not a large enough room to really challenge them (until my daughter moves out anyway). I expect the Klipsch's will rock better with say Tower of Power and the Polk's abit more detailed in the trio and quartet jazz genre.
(I'll match your "right on" and raise you a "far out man".
