anybody know anything about these speakers??

solid plastic cabs,, 2 drivers.. they say
voyager auxiliary speaker-model p-2001 on the back,,
it also says anchor audio inc..

anywho,, i took a listen and wasent impressed.. these are some PA stage speakers right?
what should i expect from them?
what would you guys estimate they are worth??

my friend gave this one to me.. he owed me $10.. he says he'll give the other one to me also when he finds out where he put it..

Yeah, Anchor does PA/SR type stuff. Those look to be smallish stand mount speaks.

That's the important part right there. They might be good for a garage/workshop system though.

My guess is that is a vocal stage monitor and it isn't going to have very wide frequency response. I'd bet they cost more than $10 though.

A little research shows that the current product closest to the Voyager would be the Explorer. It looks like the Voyager was (discontinued now) a battery operated, active PA system. You have the slave unit. The other one should have an amp and input/mixer on it. Price on the Explorer is around $2k. If the other one is the master unit and it works, you've gotten quite a bit for your $10.
