That would have been difficult for many here to do, although no doubt you also helped a lot of people get/keep their old gear working well, and made some cash in the process, neither of which is a bad thing.

I hope you find more good tube gear to replace those SRs. Once hooked, no one should have to live without some nice tube gear around!

It's also nice to welcome another female to the site. Seems that this place (and the audio hobby in general) is overbalanced with males!
Yes I miss having all those tubes. I would find myself just go thru each crate one by one. Just to see what's there.
Sometimes I would find a tube, like a engraved base tube or a funny looking eye tube. Finally, I decided to sort them by number. That took about a week. I never wanted to get rid of them. If it wasn't for my other half, I would still have all of them. But we purchased them at a very good price and made alot of money. They are all gone. But - I sold some of them to a friend. So, I can visit them whenever I want! Hahaha
As for finding something to replace those SRs. NOTHING that I have found yet could compare with them. Sad. Damn, it.

That is just beautiful tube gear you have pics of there. Welcome aboard AK. This is a great place to be. I have AK permanently as one of my tabs. There are plenty of knowledgeable people here who can guide you through your musical journey. Enjoy the ride!

Hello... I love my tube CB/Ham gear but don't own a tube audio system. I grew up surfing the old Ventura oil piers way back.

Welcome to AK.
I've never heard of Sargent-Rayment either, but I've learned a lot on here.
That pre-tuner is absolutely cherry, as is the chassis shot of the amp.
Thanks for the pics.
