Denon DVD-2910 Find

Browsing my local internet classifieds found someone selling a Denon DVD-2910. This unit does everything, from very good 1080p upscaling to playing SACD/DVD-A. Called the guy, and asked him why he was selling, he said he just bought a BluRay player, and didn't need.

Went to his place, he hooked it up, everything worked perfectly, and he accepted $75.00 for it. This unit will be in my bedroom, and will replace an old Sony DVD that has given great service, but is like 13 yrs old.

Recently I got an OPPO BDP-83 for my HT setup, so I think I have sufficient DVD capability for years to come.

I use one as my "universal" player in my hi-fi setup for CD, HDCD, SACD, etc. Not too bad! (I paid quite a bit more for mine! )

Works great! I tried it in my tube amp system, and it sounded very good, not as detailed as my Jolida CDP, but right up there. Now, for movies it is much better than the current Sony being used in my bedroom, but obvioulsy not better than my OPPO BD83 in my HT system.
