KR-9400, KR-9600, KR-4400, KR-10000III and Kenwoods finest Speaker line the "LS" Series built from 1975-80 starting with the LS-403, LS-405 & LS-406, then the "A's": LS-403A, LS-405A, LS-407A, LS-408A, then the "B's": LS-404B, LS-405B, LS-407B, LS-408B, and finally the last of the "LS" Series, the "C's": LS-405C, LS-407C & LS-408C. Only the LS's listed here were the result of the USA Kenwood team using the "Model Seven" from Japan as the backbone for developing them. in a sense, they are the children of the Model Seven, which ticketed for $2600 to $2900 at the time of their introduction in September 1975.

I have and love alot of Kenwood Gear :D
 
The only kenwood I have is a AT 500 timer, but I use it daily. That is the only kenwood piece I have seen in my searching for gear.
