GF Demo - Power Cable Pass Around

? Say I was going to buy a better power cord. What piece of equipment would it be better to replace. CD, amp......etc. Starting with one.

I have not had time to really explore this cable yet but I did give a listen to it yesterday. Install it on a Arcam CD-82 in place of the stock cable and it really made the player much more engaging. At first I though it was just me relaxing into the music so after 40 minutes I went back to the standard cable, same music, and the difference was obvious.

Don't know how anxious the next user is but I would like to use it through the weekend if that is OK?
 
It is still in the US and you can get on the list. I guess I need to chase it down, which I will do when we get back from CES.

Hi Jose,

Sorry for the delay, missed your post. There is only SpeakerLabFan left to go, if the cost to ship to Puerto Rico isn't too much, then it is fine with with me, then you would be at the end of the list and would have to pay for it to come back to Canada unless someone else signs up in the US.

Ok. Let's see how much will delivery cost..an arm or a leg!!! :tears:

We use USPS or anything between FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc... whatever is lower and securer. Don't think will be more than regular Priority Service Flat Rate.

Hi Jose,

The thing is that it is the current demo tester that pays for the shipping, so whoever ships it to you, would have to pay any extra to get it to you, where he would expect to only pay for mainland USA, then you would have to pay to return it to Canada as you are on the end of the list, unless you bought it of course.

I think it is an arm AND a leg :)

Hi Ian, Sorry for the delay - I've somehow been missing the posts on this thread. I am not only ready, I have received and been using the power cable for some time now. I have been meaning to ask for the next stop on the pass around.

a Very impressive cord and package, I've been using it to power a Manley Stingray tube amp. I have been kind of stunned by the quality of materials used, and the overall build of this power cord, as well as the nice packaging/box.

I'm ready to ship to the next recipient - let me know / PM me an address and it will go out in the next day or so. thanks again for this opportunity. :thmbsp:
