I'm like that, too. Whenever audio gear appears in a TV show, movie or print ad, I'm staring at the gear and trying to identify it, rather than paying attention to the main characters or the plot. It's almost a compulsion/addiction!

That equalizer looks like a Realistic catalog number 31-1987 in the 1980 catalog page 23.

can't tell - but i can imagine their trouble finding working things - even if that episode was made 10 years ago, much of the equipment would be oldies

And i also noticed some reel's on top of the tapedeck - haven't we all done that sometime ? I did, and learned a lesson :thumbsdn:
