Peachtree Audio Nova

I want to take my MA6500 from my family room to use in our motorhome and I need a replacement integrated. I have my eye on a Peachtree Audio Nova. It meets the wives criteria for a more stylish amp, it gets rave reviews for what it is, and my main use will be through a Sonos box that fits nicely in a garage at the back of the unit with a decent quality built in DAC.
Has anyone heard it? How much sound quality will I lose? I will use it only for the Sonos and the occasional music on Sat TV
I am heading to Seattle on Black Friday and will listen to one then.
It will be powering DeVore Super 8 speakers.
Any thoughts?

I have one and it is a fantastic value for the money. The DAC is really it's strongest point though, probably worth the 1200 on it's own. If you get the upgrade bug you might consider adding an external power amp at some point. I have the Sonos and really enjoy it. I have since recently bought a c2300 and a mc275 <awaiting delivery>, and will be using it as a DAC for the time being, I think it will hold it's own in this system. I'm not familiar with your speakers, but I had great results with Sonus Faber Domus Concerto's, which are 2 way design, 6.5 inch woofer, and fairly "warm and romantic" sounding, and a REL 305 sub. Oh, and the headphone output is very good if you're into headphones. I'm envious that you have 2 MC275's! That's what I plan on upgrading to.

That's great to hear, I had a feeling it would work well with the Sonos.
My DeVore's are similar to your Sonus Fabers, 2 way 7 inch woofer and warm with the Mac. I might have to add a sub as I don't expect the Peachtree to have the balls of the Mac. This is for my second system
Upstairs with the 2 MC275's and a C2200, I use a Bryston DAC with the Sonos and I cannot hear a difference between my MVP871.

How big of a room is it going to, and how efficient are your speakers?
Speakers are 90db and the room is 15x15 off of our kitchen.
Volume is not an issue as the wife is always wanting me to turn it down.
Mostly background music while we prepare dinner or chat.
The big room upstairs is for serious listening.
I know it will not compete with the Mac 6500 but it will please the wife to have a smaller simple pc of equipment and it will allow me to put the Mac in the motorhome

I think you will be happy with the Nova, it's inexpensive and is worth the money for the DAC alone, and if you want to upgrade it's an easy path.
