Sentry III's are a studio monitor with a 15" ported baffle woofer and horn loaded mid range and tweeter. They all fit into a 36"(h) 30" (w) 21"(d) fruit wood finished cabinet. To achieve a lower bass response the baffle is covered and functions as an infinite baffle with an EV Equalizer(included). At the time (1980's) they had the best overall frequency response, 26hz - 17,500hz within 3db. You can drive them with as little as 75 watts but I used a Phase Linear 400w (200 watts per channel). Cabinets and grills are real good condition (small water mark on one). I had one woofer re-coned, the other sounds great but needs it as well. New, the speakers went for $1,300 each. I'd be happy with $700 for the pair including equalizer. Other components are also for sale if interested. Serious inquires only please.
