Mc501 on the array1400 - a good match?

Last year i had the jbl array 1400 wich i testet on a lot of different amps up to parasound jc1. Jc1 was also one that i bought since i got it really cheap. After a couple of months, i sold both the arrays and the jc1, and invested inn a pair of avantgarde duo and a mcintosh mc275. A great match indeed, but after a few months in this company i more and more miss the joy factor of the arrays. Where duo is more tradionally hifi, array was more "live". And the punch in the bass is something duo never can match.

So, therefor i wonder; has anyone tried mc501 on the array1400? and what did you think of it?

I am thinking the same with the Array's. However, I only have a MC402. I am wondering if the 402 is up to the task?

As I see it, you will have no problems driving the JBL 1400 Array with mono MC501, I think it's a great result. Go ahead.

Especially how efficient the system is? I am a speaker junkie and try to hear everything out there. I want to hear those speakers!
