Pioneer S-1010 L/R

What do you need to do more than refoaming the passive woofers?

What will cost 150 EUR?

The right one on the picture needs just refoaming, but the left passive-woofer is missing a part of the cone. It is glued with white styropor-paper!
The biggest problem is, that I couldn´t find any 14 inch refoaming kits. The refoaming is very difficult, because you cannot glue the foam on or under the edge, like the 10" or 12" woofers.

Refoaming my HPM-1100 woofers cost me 150,- Euros. 60,- Euros each speaker, 15,- Euros shipping - 15,- Euro shipping back.
Now when I have to pay more because of the cone ( about 30,- ) it makes 180,- Euro :nono:

The woofers been repaired: 188,50 Euros = $ 200,- :sigh:
Now the speakers are good working, but looking like a glued antik vase :tears:
I just tested the Sound with my SX-D7000, but it will never reach my HPM-1100, not enough bass

Nice job, I wish I could have my pair in that shape too.

I'm gonna modify my speakers out of original configuration by other bass speakers. I will post a picture when I'm ready.

It would have been much easier and cheeper, if Pioneer had used 15" passive woofers :thumbsdn:
