I think they have white vans in Sweden too.

I've got a similar model- these were NOT cheap when new. Mine is a single down-firing 10" driver, with the amp/crossover below it (surrounded by metal mesh) and the cabinet above it. It was in use in my lake house's pro-logic surround system for years, and has now come home for mods & some other application. I have some resources somewhere, I'll find you some links & info.

I just exchanged some gear with a repairman to a Audio Pro B2-50. B2-50 is one of the models that is using rubber surround and needs no re-foaming. B2-70 needs (as all foam surround speakers) re-foaming. They may look good, but often it is weak and breaks easily.

I have spoken to people on a swedish forum and they say that they are best for music and not so good with movies. The B2-50 goes down to 20 Hz. Some other models reach down to 25 Hz with greater power instead. Also the should have very low THD.

The (I guess) largest model was called B2-400.

I have the same exact model.....except mine is oiled walnut. I recently refoamed and have to do a few things to the amp before I can hear the final product. I am excited to hear what it can do!!! Supposed to be some really nice equipment. If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay??

Hopefully we will both be thrilled with the sound!! Let me know how you like it. I am very interested in the outcome. I need to get mine on the road. :thmbsp:

Here in Sweden you have to pay about 20 times as much or more. They are very good!

sounds fun. look for a pen and paper, then yuo find a great pair of speakers instead. put it down for the mean time. go back and look for it. then you find another great pair. and on and on it goes....

I have heard that model sub- its sound defies its size- it'll just flat out amaze you with the shear output and depth of bass. THOSE are darn nice subs. GREAT find!!
With a sub that nice makes you wonder how Volvo ever got built...all though the turbo Vovo is a killer machine......
