Not vintage exactly . . .

Onkyo TX-SR805

It has a LOT of boards, but comes apart pretty easily.

The amplifier module and chassis is removable from the main chassis for service.

Heat is an issue. There are two silent two speed fans in the boxes next to the transformer that blow onto the heatsinks when current output is high, or when the heatsink temp exceeds 85c!
