Micro Seiki DD-1?

just wondered if anyone has owned/heard one of these and is it any good? Presumably it was the entry level TT for this brand.

It's a two-speed model, with a basic speed controller. You're right, it's pretty much their 'entry level' for a DD TT. Its okay as regular DD TTs go, with a nice vintage look somewhat typical of Micros of that era, but if you are looking for a nice DD TT with great sound and value, this probably isn't the best place to start. Something like a Technics 1200 series will best it sonically. The attached pic was taken from a Dutch seller's listing.
