preamp selector switch wiring

I'm putting together an integrated preamp/amp using the boards from Rod Elliot. Specifically P03A 60 watt amplifier and P88 preamp. When it comes time to put the selector switch in, I'm torn between using a double pole switch and 4pole switch. The question is whether to wire all the signal grounds together and use the double pole switch or to have separate switch lugs for the signal grounds.

Here are a couple of sketches of what I have in mind. This is using a double pole switch:

This is using a 4 pole switch:

The advantage to using the 4pole switch is any noise from the unselected inputs is stopped at the switch. Is this a worthwhile consideration? Or am I just straining at gnats?

IMHO, don't bother switching the ground circuits; any resistance there or a poor switch contact will have you going crazy looking for hum, noise, RFI pickup, etc.

Use a switch ONLY when it is really needed, they are just another point to be De-oxed, and a switch will fail before a soldered connection will (all other thing being equal)

Keep it simple!
