Pioneer SX-203 Receiver/amplifier

Hello I have this pioneer sx-203 receiver and it blows fuses every time I turn it on. What could be the cause of this can it be fixed? Or should I toss it to the curb? Any info would be great. Thanks

Well first off, whatever it's worth to you is what it's worth in deciding whether or not to get it fixed. As for real world figures, the SX-203 is a "BPC" piece and is probably not worth fixing, if it's much wrong with it. At least not in the same sense as the vintage silver pieces.

Odds are about nine out of ten, you have shorted output transistors.
