Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone out there is a speaker cabinet builder ( or know of one ) who has a wood shop and who has experience in wood cutting willing to help me build a small speaker project and charges a decent price.
Thank You.

buy a saw and anyone here will help ya... probably cost the same as having someone do it for you. otherwise, i know nobody. many here build their own cabs and there are some internet sites where they send you all the pieces, you just need glue, finishing nails, a little wood putty, and a sander. good luck. the guys here walked me trough a difficult veneering project, and was surprised how well i did. ask "outlaw" he gives good advice. other very knowledgeable folks are Billfort, and Wardsweb.

jerrymrc posted a thread on cabinets that he built and veneered, with a link to pictures. That would be worth searching for.

Hi Noid, I just move to Phoenix, Az from Denver Colorado. If you have a shop and willing to work with me that would be great. I'm willing to pay for shipping from Florida. :D

Hey..hi Styler, man that would be great if I can buy all of the cutting tools needed for this little project of mine but since I just move out here to HOT sizzling Phoenix, Az from the cool mountains of col, my little apartment AND my wife Karen won't allow a small wood shop  . But I do have all of the drawings made out.

If you can e-mail them to me I would see what can be done. On the same note, I will find out if anyone I know is in Phoenix that can be of help.

WingNut, do you already have the drivers? If not, you might want to check on their availablity. I think that "Infinity" driver was a buyout and may no longer be available. If I can't locate someone near you to lend a helping hand, are you wanting the enclosures built, or simply a "flat-pack" with all the cut pieces for you to assemble? Please don't go pulling the trigger just yet, let's give it 24hrs to try and find someone near you man.

Hi Noidster, considering I don't have the clamps and the room or any tools needed for a flat-pack, I'd much prefer the cabinets being built along with their front grills so all I have to do is the final assembly here. Yup, I already have the drivers. This will be a 2-way floor tower speakers.

Its a shame you just found this site. If you were still in Denver we could have whipped out a set of cabinets in a weekend.

I have a couple of other projects I would love to do but time is very tight right now. Im doing the Pond, Waterfall, Stream, Fence, Landscape project.

After that the GTO gets a makeover (again). Im so behind that most of the projects I have in mind that the drivers are sold out now. :worried: I have them stuck away. I do have to check my stock. If I have 3 sets of the Infinity's I would sell a set for anyone wanting to build a set of very nice speakers. I do want to build the TMM version of these.

I do take it you are building the speakers from my posts?

Hi jerrymrc, let me say first about the thread I was told to view of your speakers...WOW! Man you did an awesome job on those cabinets, congrads!
Actualy I'm building a different type of a two way. If you read any of the threads above you'll know I can't do any kind of building. oh well, anyhow- I was wondering since you have the tools needed to built speaker cabinets would you be interested in my small speaker project?
All I need done is two empty enclosures along with their front grills and that's it! I would do the final assembly and finish work like laminated veener from Parts Express.

I am sorry but I just do not have the time at the moment. If you had come down I could have shown you the basics and let you go as I did other things
But unless they are very small (and I know they are not) I just am out of time.

Just got another section of the fence done.
