I have a 10a fast blow in mine but that may not be the original size as this amp did suffer output failure at some point which I am sure blew the original fuse.

I have a PS-x5 that I used in my living room and ran a Nagaoka MP-200 on it, so don't be afraid to put a good cartridge on that table because it's well built and sounds better than one would expect.
