i know they don't look like much but Ive been quietly looking for a pair. eminence woofer from what i can recall, a 10 inch horn if memory serves, replace the cap on the horn you may be surprised, i have seen them referred to as poor mans klipsch. go for it! -

Rescuing some JBL 4313b's
home depot sells a spray paint, which is matte, looks real close to jbl blue and i believe is used for marking pipes/lines that may be underground, all this from a shaky memory. -

unsure of the brand but have seen them or speakers like them mounted in corners of ceilings upside down, period speakers could include university or maybe utah. -

Old school auto 6x9's in ported or sealed enclosure?
1.5 cubic feet worked for me for years using the jensen 6 x 9`s with whizzer cones, excellent results with minimal effort two of my favorite things! -

older fisher speakers, like the xp7 seemed to be voiced warmer/darker than others imho. they also were built well and looked beautiful. -
Help with outdoor speakers
ive had very good results with eminence drivers, parts express sells them, i use a pair of alpha 10a with piezos for outdoor sound, the surrounds are not foam and stand up well to the elements, roll them out?, okay maybe get some 15" eminence, at least you can look at prices, specs and reviews...
