I think 24awg is too thin. However,if you're comfortable with it,use it. For my HT I use 14awg. My 2ch system minimum of 12awg. That's what I'm comfortable with.

My biggest pet peeve,and I see this everyday,everywhere,is lack of pictures. For example, someone selling speakers,posts a pic of the front of the speakers with the grills on. If the grills are removable,TAKE THEM OFF!! No pics of the rear of the speakers. Are they spring clips?? Binding posts...
