Acoustat Carbostar 215?

That's the closest I can get to identifying these little units (exactly one reference).
5-1/4" stout little woofer (719 code suggests it was made Carbonneau) and small
dome tweeter. 16" x 10" x7" boxen. Haven't tried listening to them yet. They need
some attention.

Acoustat?! AFAIK Acoustat made electrostatics and some hybrids with cones for the low end. Real "monkey coffins"? That's news to me.

Correction: the 215s are smaller than the boxes I have. I've seen a reference to a 217 model.
I'll dig into that further.

I've been using various Acoustat ESL's (exclusively) since the mid 80's. There are currently two pair in use in my room. I was totally unaware of any dynamic speakers from them. The exception being the SPW-1 woofer which I own.
