Finally! How to interpret auction site lingo! (warning: humor/parody/not real)

One of my favorites is when the seller has diagnosed the problem already and tells you "it's an easy 20 minute fix".

Then why have you not done it then expert?

OMG, yes--you're thinking, is this person on crack? Fix the damn thing if it's so easy! Lazy people who just want the money.

I always like
"MINT!!!!" Works great!
Not Tested Sold As Is
*Seller does not accept returns.
It's too bad that sellers try to get buyers' hopes up with listings like this--I suppose if you're a veteran buyer you can easily read between the lines and walk away from such auctions, no matter how tempting.

New one: "cord cut; unable to test" = I cut the cord. Because it caught on fire when I "tested" it. By the time you put a new cord on to "test" it I will be long gone.

Off topic, thread hijack. But in addition to all the above I really hate L@@K!!! with a passion.
Ha ha! Not a thread hijack; I totally agree. It's like a five-year-old composed it so Sally and Billy would notice the shiny pony.
