I think at this point we have a pretty good idea what gets in and what doesn't get in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio. It is what it is. I see Bon Jovi just got admitted. Well he's been there in spirit ever since day one. OK rant over - I'll kick it off:

No, seriously. Has anyone else here survived the 1970s? Do you remember the blow-dried hair dudes, sometimes with a porno mustache, who used to manage places like Musicland in the mall? That's whom I think of when I think of things like the RRHOF. I never put stock in what these people thought was good music back then; I sure don't now.

THINK PINK from 1988.... great band !
They Played at The Farmers Daughter in Caseville .... the place Reminded Everybody of PORKY'S because it was out in the woods and looked like the Bar from the movie.

Although I’m sure there is a chance Pixies and SY could later. But skimming through the inductees I’m not so sure.

Paul Revere & The Raiders. They had the great hits, the excellent albums and longevity.
