Never understood why it's in Cleveland anyway. Just means I'll never visit.

I lived in Detroit when the decision was made and there were some hurt feelings. But get real. When I was a kid and bands said "Detroit fans are the best fans in the world!" I'd think "Wow - that's pretty impressive!". I also believed Ernie Harwell knew where all the fans in the stands who caught balls came from.

Boy, Edwin. Great batch of groups you listed. I skimmed the list of inductees and I didn't see Johnny Burnette and the Rock and Roll Trio. That was a real surprise.

I would like to see Spirit, Wishbone Ash, Bauhaus, Scott Walker, Devo and Stone Temple Pilots to begin with.

An obvious Goth bent? Lack of Top 40 action? What else could be preventin' their induction? Certainly nottheir fine songcraft (musical and lyrical), stellar vocals nor effin' fantastic geetrist Manzanera, so.... ???

They just played back-to-back Red Hot Chili Peppers / Pet Shop Boys. The Peppers are in - but it's basically a participation trophy cuz they're American and Classic Rock Friendly. The Pet Shop Boys are not in and probably never will be in.
